Christianne Burns

Christianne is the Founder and Director of Rocktown Volleyball Club. She has grown up playing volleyball, but her main sport was track. After graduating high school, she realized the thing she missed the most was volleyball. She started playing among the adult community in Harrisonburg, and volleyball quickly became a priority in her life. She became a head coach, and she has continued coaching at the middle and high school levels. She is currently the JV head coach at Spotswood High School. Christianne is the Club Director for all things indoor volleyball and outdoor volleyball for RoVo.

After 4 years of high school ball, Colton played Libero/DS for 4 years at Eastern Mennonite University. He quickly entered the coaching scene as the assistant at EMU, and started his high school coaching career at EMHS. He has since become well known in the area as the varsity coach at Broadway High School. Colton loves to work on skill development with athletes and believes in the wholistic power of coaching to empower young athletes to succeed in life. Most recently, Colton was named as the first head men’s volleyball coach at Bridgewater College. Colton’s role in RoVo Juniors is to work as an advisor to our coaching staff and to assist with the development of the indoor programs, including boys and girls volleyball.

Dallas became obsessed with volleyball watching the 2008 summer olympics, but never had opportunity to play organized volleyball until adulthood. In recent years, Dallas has become a student of the sport, watching and analyzing matches for indoor and outdoor volleyball, while also learning the ins and outs of the sport through media. Dallas’ role for RoVo Juniors is to aid in the athletic development of our players.
